Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Estate Care client portal and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

Estate Care provides professional administrative concierge services for estate settlement and trust administration, including:

  • Document management and organization
  • Coordination with attorneys, financial advisors, and other professionals
  • Project tracking and status updates
  • Secure client portal access for document sharing and communication
  • Administrative support throughout the estate settlement process

Our services are designed to support trustees and families during the estate administration process, but do not constitute legal, financial, or tax advice.

Client Portal Access

Invite-Only Access: The Estate Care client portal is invite-only. Access is granted exclusively to clients who have engaged our services and received an invitation email.

Authentication: Portal authentication is provided by Manus (manus.im), a third-party authentication service. By using the portal, you agree to Manus's terms of service and privacy policy.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Confidentiality and Data Security

Estate Care takes data security seriously. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your sensitive information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You agree to:

  • Keep your portal login credentials confidential
  • Not share your account access with unauthorized individuals
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
  • Use the portal only for its intended purpose related to your estate administration
Professional Relationships

Estate Care provides administrative concierge services and does not:

  • Provide legal advice (consult your attorney for legal matters)
  • Provide financial or investment advice (consult your financial advisor)
  • Provide tax advice (consult your tax professional)
  • Act as a fiduciary or trustee

Our role is to coordinate, organize, and support the administrative aspects of estate settlement while you work with your professional advisors.

Fees and Payment

Service fees are agreed upon in your engagement agreement. Payment terms, billing frequency, and accepted payment methods are outlined in your service contract.

Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship with written notice. Upon termination:

  • Your portal access will be deactivated
  • We will provide you with copies of all documents and records
  • Outstanding fees for services rendered remain due
  • Confidentiality obligations continue after termination
Limitation of Liability

Estate Care's liability is limited to the fees paid for our services. We are not liable for:

  • Decisions made by trustees, attorneys, or other professionals
  • Tax consequences or financial outcomes
  • Delays caused by third parties
  • Technical issues with third-party services (including authentication providers)
Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or portal notification. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
