 Your Questions, Answered

Key information for our attorney, CPA, and financial advisor partners.

  • We are your non-legal, administrative implementation team. You provide the legal or tax advice; we execute the time-consuming logistics. We handle the paperwork, phone calls, asset inventory, property coordination, and financial record-keeping, acting as the trustee's project manager and your reliable back-office support.

  • Our core expertise is focused on California trust administration. We have deep experience navigating the specific procedures of Southern California counties, including Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino. We manage the entire process, including all on-site needs, within this region. For trusts with out-of-state assets, we coordinate with local agents on the trustee's behalf.

  • The ideal referral is a first-time trustee who is busy with their own career and family, lives out-of-the-area, or is feeling overwhelmed by the process. Our service is most valuable for trusts that hold real estate, multiple financial accounts, and tangible personal property that needs to be managed and distributed.

  • Simple. You make a warm email introduction. We schedule a complimentary consultation with the trustee to explain our role. If they choose to engage us, they sign our own administrative service agreement, and we immediately begin work, starting with a 3-way kickoff call with you, the trustee, and our team.

  • We provide "concise clarity." Your firm receives a single, weekly digest email with key updates, action items, and any legal questions from the trustee, so your inbox isn't flooded. The trustee receives high-touch, proactive communication as often as they need, ensuring they feel supported and informed at all times.

  • You receive a perfectly organized, complete, and reconciled "closing package." This includes the final Master Inventory with date-of-death valuations, a detailed financial ledger of all trust activity, digitized copies of all invoices and receipts, and all final statements—ready for you to efficiently prepare the final accounting and tax returns.

  • This is our most critical boundary. We are strictly a non-legal service. Our engagement letter states this clearly. Any question from a client regarding legal interpretation, fiduciary decisions, or tax strategy is immediately and professionally directed back to you as their trusted counsel. We are the "how," you are the "why" and "should."

  • Yes. We maintain comprehensive Errors & Omissions (E&O), general liability, and cybersecurity insurance policies. We are happy to provide a certificate of insurance to our professional partners.

  • We are a force multiplier for your paralegal. While your paralegal is expertly drafting legal notices, petitions, and accountings, we are handling the time-consuming, non-billable logistics: sitting on hold with banks, meeting appraisers at the property, managing the estate sale, and processing mountains of mail. We free your skilled staff to focus on legal work.

  • Our administrative fees are billed hourly to the trustee and paid from the trust assets as a standard cost of administration. Our relationship with your firm is our primary asset.
